Short, and in plain words
The rules
Last updated September 27, 2026
Using EaseStudy
EaseStudy is a planner for secondary-school students: it helps you turn assignments and due dates into a plan, and reminds you when it’s time to start. By using it, you agree to these rules. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian first.
Your account
- Use your own account, and keep access to your email or Google account safe — that is how you sign in.
- One person per account. Don’t sign in as someone else.
Your stuff is yours
Everything you put into EaseStudy — courses, assignments, plans — belongs to you. We only use it to run the planner for you, as described on the privacy page.
Be fair to the service and to other people
- Don’t try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or into parts of the service you shouldn’t.
- Don’t overload, scrape, or try to break the service.
- Don’t put other people’s personal information into your planner or into the shared demo.
Reminders are help, not a guarantee
We work hard to get reminders to you on time, but phones, browsers and networks don’t always cooperate. Your deadlines are still yours to keep track of — please don’t rely on EaseStudy as the only place you’ve written something down.
Who we are not
EaseStudy is independent. It is not made by, or connected to, Google, Google Classroom, the Ontario Ministry of Education, or your school or school board. Ontario course names and codes are used so you can find your courses quickly.
Changes and availability
EaseStudy is new and changing quickly. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we change these rules in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app.
Leaving
You can stop using EaseStudy whenever you like, and delete your account yourself at the bottom of Settings — it happens straight away. We may close an account that breaks these rules.
The legal part
EaseStudy is provided as it is, without promises beyond the ones on this page, and to the extent the law allows we aren’t responsible for missed deadlines or other losses from using it. These rules are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada.
